Well, I just got a set of headphones again. 

 

I confirm I can bring:

 

Benchmark DAC1 USB

Audeze LCD2 rev. 2

Tripp Lite Isolation Transformer

 

 

But since I don't own a laptop and don't want to carry in a full-tower desktop, I'll see about borrowing a laptop so I can have a source and music...

 

I'd be especially interested to see if I can hear any differences between the DAC1 and an O2/ODAC.

YESSSS LCD-2!!! atsmile.gif Can't wait to hear them.

 

As for not having a laptop, no sweat. You could bring albums on an external hard drive or flash media and you can play them off of my laptop. 

 

Also, if anyone can bring a CD transport/player that would be awesome. I have one, but the sound it outputs through RCA is ridiculously loud, definitely intended for speakers.

I can bring this stuff; Schitt Bifrost/Lyr, (yes an O2/ODAC as well), Headstage Arrow 4G, HD-600, HD-800, LCD-3, Resonessence Invicta, Bryston BDP-2 and DNA Stratus. The Stratus and Bryston are not here yet, but both on order for delivery NLT mid to end of March.

I will be extremely stoked to hear the Stratus. It's relatively affordable (compared to some options) and is supposed to sound absolutely incredible!

These events are great.  They are normally held at the George Mason Regional library in Annandale, Virginia.  The library is located along Rt. 236 between I-495 and I-395.  Access is fairly easy for all to get there.

A stack of CDs

 

Yes, not much. I purged my gear :P Which was a bad move, really starting to miss my old stuff :(

@moses667  im really excited to hear the 500's  I've been looking for an upgrade to my hd650's and have been seriously looking at them.  How do you like them with the Magni?
