YKYAAW you'd be more socially acceptable talking about you Dungeons and Dragons campaign than your audio gear.

I think this is the winner...

I was saying to a work colleague that my portable rig cost just over £1500, and he winced, the told him about the AK240 at £2500, and he laughed...

I sometimes feel as if they think that I am cheating them when I told them how much I spent on my audio toys... Says who spend $100+ on games credit which is not at all physical item. IMO the good thing about audio is that they don't get old as fast as cars or most hobby. It is just that Head-Fi makes our gears looks outdated. tongue.gif

Hell, my car will be worth a good 15-20% more in 10 years as long as I don't wreck it.  Same with people who bought D2ks when they were still being manufactured.  But yeah, $60 bucks for a game + $40 of DLC is pretty crazy and you can't even sell digital downloads for to get part of your money back.

There are times where I prefer to stick with music and listen to it alone for a say but there are also times where I wish to do crazy things HAHAHA

YKYAAW you include a parting letter with your cans as you ship them off to a new owner.
