Wife: "How much does that cost honey?" (Points at HD 600)
Head-fier: "Um.....only $100 dollars."

Hope that never happens to you guys.
Good thing I'm still young!

..For me, it is looking around the room I'm in right now, and realising that the gear I am not even using anymore could pay for a decent vacation...

You know you're an audiophile when you watch something with an "expert wine taster" in it and start thinking about how similar it is to judging Hi-Fi gear.

You know you are an audiophile when you had a dream about owning a pair of HD600's, trying it out and analysing the sound of your new cans in your dreams.

I have constantly one of those orgasmic dreams specially with top tier cans, DAPs, amps, etc. Hard to wake up...

I did dream once that someone had built some ionophone headphones and promised to let me hear them...

You Know You're an Audiophile When..

You are in a kitchen supply store and measure all the chopping blocks. Not a plan to cook with them but to place your amps on them.

Been there, done that... seriously, if you buy two wooden chopping blocks and stick them together in layers with double-sided tape, it's a dead ol' platform, and the ones I bought had a finger-hole on one side which channels the cable. One on its own tends to resonate with a bit of a boom.

But you know you're a REAL audiophile ninja when you persuade your significant other that this is a great idea: "ACTIVATE THE SUBWOOFERS!"

YKYAAW You can't enjoy your church's music because the poor placement of the piano causes the key strikes to sound muddy...

That´s the only way I get shopping with my lady, she can´t get enough at the mall and I get the opportunity to look around and find some option to store my gear
