When you haven't bought any new clothes in nearly a year. Swag is suffering with this hobby

When you start thinking of SQ first, then music itself.

This is precisely the trap I'm trying to avoid. I do so many mods/tunings etc that I'm pretty sure I wind up listening more to test tones and tracks than I do the music itself.

YKYAAW when you are bragging about your $100+k system but then realize that you're still living with your parents.

Last time I told her that I'm considering selling it to buy ourselves a house she replied back with " I'll miss you" normal_smile%20.gif

Well it's her loss, she will miss the good music.

That's..... a little disturbing..... Before buying $100k worth audio equipment, I would think you'd get an apartment at least.... in fact apartments cost less than that (depending on where you're from of course).

But still, audiophillia respect.

When your reason for going out is to justify making a portable rig.
