You Know You're an Audiophile When.. Version 2! - Page 142

I actually need more RCA cables.. Only got 2, but I have 4 units leaving one out at all times. Wonder how my DAC likes that I daisy chain them all, especially considering that the emo's input impedance is only 10k ohm.

You know you're an audiophile when you host the local meet and you're the one who brought all the toys to the table.

Does that make me the Alpha Audiophile? On the plus side, that actually temporarily curbs my desire for new gear.

Gawd I know how that feels :) But I wasn't the host. xD

You know you're an audiophile when....

"Finally...bought those __(Insert name of newly bought equipment)__  that I've been longing to buy...time for a break from buying and more time to embrace my rig.."

NEK MINUT (Click to show)

"I NEED TO FIND MY NEXT PURCHASE. THERE HAS TO BE BETTER GEAR OUT THERE AFTER THE __(Insert name of newly bought equipment)__ OPENED UP FOR ME."

Such is audiophile life.

(I can't believe I posted this in the DX50 thread and never realised...Awkward as..)

When you are broke and just look at all the stuff you want and optionally cry and FML. biggrin.gif

You sell other stuff to pay for cans. Like old phones, clothes, even cans DAPS and amps.

I don't have much to sell but I have sold a few things here and there but I'm actually saving up for a DJ rig, 2 turntables and a mixer.
I want to learn how to DJ. And of course, I have a few records now.
I won't be selling my "old" cans any time soon because that's the least of my worries... wink.gif

You could always DJ without very expensive stuff. Mixxx and other software is a good place to start. Getting a hang of it before putting items that are rather expensive and sometime irreplaceable on the line.

Thanks, I played around Virtual DJ a lot and I know a lot of stuff. I learn every day, not just with Virtual DJ. I can mix a nice set but I am limited because I can't set-up cueing on my headphones, I need a mono splitter but never mind that. I just want to learn how to beatmatch and I love vinyl too. I'm 17 in March so that is weird to some people biggrin.gif
I went to Croatia's first electronic music vinyl shop Picth which opened just a mere two months ago, actually DJ TLR helped a local guy open it, TLR is the boss of Creme ORganization BTW.
I made friends with the owner and he said I could sometimes practise on his Technics.
I am looking for some decent direct drive turntables so the minimum would be at least Stanton T62s.
It has to have some torque because again I will beatmatch alot. But I need to learn how to pitch ride as well.
Whoa I streched this thing up, sorry for OT.

YKYAAW when you wake up dreaming (literally) about your new turntable,  bought a Technics 1200MK2, and spent way too many hours on that hunt.

I had a dream the other day that my Annie got stolen and I woke up running down and double check it is still in place xD

YKYAAW Annie is a headphone not a human ._.

YKYAAW you'd rather pay for an hour with sr-009 than an hour with a woman (to put it nicely)
