I came across a 500GB HDD that is almost fully filled with videos. It took a few minutes for my PC to read the entire HDD D:

It must be a slow disk? I have a 7200 rpm disk of 1T of music and videos and never have a problem with slow read speeds. SSD I use for softwares and OS only. Try cleaning it up or defragging.

Lol. Are there hybrid drives available for normal upgrades? Like HDD+SSD? I know my laptop has something like that. 24gb Booting SSD and 500gb HDD. It's fast and big!

YKYAAW a teacher asks a class to bring hps or iems, and you have spares for everyone who didn't bring theirs. I had three spare iems for classmates(MDR7550, H-200, and crap sansa ear buds)!

Yep! I have heard about the HDD+SSD from Apple. But still, it's slower than SSD but faster than HDD. So it sits nicely in between smily_headphones1.gif

YOU SIR! I WANT TO BE YOUR CLASSMATE! *pretends to forgot to bring HPs/IEM when teacher ask to* xD

YKYAA when you are counting on the days till you get your new desktop rig!

You own n number of headphones

You think the optimum number of headphones for you = n + 1

                                and

 The number of headphones you really need = n- ( n - 1)

Bob needs a drink :D

Lol. I have a samsung laptop with hybrid drive, and imo, it is just as fast as SSD. Maybe few sec slower when booting, but still very fast. It's really fast when you wake them up from sleeping. In fact, they wake up faster than both of my macbook airs.

I wish people appreciated my iems. They didn't think H-200(had fit issue) and MDR7550(worn downwards somehow) were good iems. I guess I won't tell them the price of those iems than!

Marching contest coming up is this regions UIL contest.

As far as storage goes, I've got 2Tb internal HDDs, might be getting a 256Gb SSD, I have a 3Tb external HDD, and a 12Tb NAS system in my house.

Be jelly.
17Tb at my disposal.
Be jelly.

OMG. What do you use 15tb for?

NVM. I just noticed I have used 3tb so far. I can never afford huge systems, so I have 2 1tb external harddrive and 2 500gb external harddrive.

To my experience with my friends, when they know the price they like "WHY BILLSON WHY! Why did you spend so much on one"

@Billson, I was born in 1997 tongue.gif my internal HDD is personal use (music documents programs), the 3Tb is an off-site backup of my dad and my PCs, the 12Tb NAS is a movie/media server for my house as well as backup.

When you watch a youtube clip explaning about active noise cancelling and know that the people don't know anything about headphones because they are using a Sennheiser HD555 in the graphic illustration and the guy was wearing it backwards.

Lol I know, and I agree with you.

And nope I do keep them too (Grado pizzabox and Sennheiser box, but I didn't keep the Sennheiser clamshell packaging. Because.... that's pretty much a self destruct packaging...)
