The Beatles Mono vs. Stereo Mixes (a speciffic query)

Hello all! This topic was probably posted a million times, but I have a specific query regarding this: Are the mono remasters (2009) the original mixes that were featured on the original vinyl releases or are they new mono mixes? I've looked everywhere, and all I can find is that both mixes differ in small details regarding the sounds that appear (for example: Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da on stereo has handclaps in the beggining, whereas the mono version does not have these). I won't be able to go to sleep without knowing this haha.

They are the original mixes. The only albums in the Beatles catalog that have been remixed that I know of are Let It Be (Naked) and the stereo version of Rubber Soul.
