Using EQ

This topic has come up many times and it seems the vast majority say NO to using EQ so I ask one question.

If you have found an IEM that is basically ideal in every aspect but maybe it just needs a slight treble or bass bump what is the harm in using EQ?

To be stubborn and refuse to use EQ and to cast that IEM aside in search for another even though it met 85% of your criteria seems senseless, no?

I am in agreement with you....nothing wrong with using it. It's just a matter of doing it judiciously.
