For Sale: FS: Singlepower MPX3 SLAM SE (230v) PLUS 50+ Assorted Tubes

For sale is my 2006 built Singlepower MPX3 SLAM SE - 230V Version

It was built with 50% of the Supra power supply, Blackgate caps, stepped attenuator and other stuff I cant remember now. It has two inputs and a pre out.

I also have a large collection of tubes that I am selling with the amp. Below I have tried to list everything I have however there are some tubes with the writing rubbed off by now. I have tested the majority of these over the last week and did not notice any duds. I cannot vouch for whether any of these are matched however most came rubber banded together in pairs and a few remain that way.

There are some tubes amongst these that I have never had the correct adaptor for, I'm sure it would be easily found elsewhere.

I am obviously aware of the disastrous ending to Singlepower however when this amp was made Mikhail was a great guy to deal with and I have had 6 years of joy out this amp. Am selling because I splurged on Gungnir and Mjolnir and don't really have the urge to tube roll any more.

I can't guarantee the age and life left in some of these tubes however 90% of them have either never been used by me or only used for a few hours. I do not have history of any of them, sacd_lover sold me big bundle back when I first purchased the amp and told me to have fun - definitely have done that.

This amp is an OTL design, I found the LCD2's really didn't like it however I've used HD600's, HP3000, several Beyers during its life and its fantastic. Coupled with the Stello DA100 it is a heavyweight contender.

The price I have listed is purely speculation on my part, I do not know what a fair price for all of this is - please make an offer and see how we go, I have had a huge amount of satisfaction from this amp and its never let me down. I really just want to sell to someone keen to tube roll or get into a tube sound for the first time.

There are also a bunch of 5687's but I can not make out brands very well, I would guess there are approximately 8-10 of these. not matched but all work. 

It looks like I have 2 12AV7's not in boxes as well

As you can see its a bit disorganised however I have kept them in either cardboard or laid out on soft towel inside a Deadwood poker set! This too can be yours, it makes a good tube case. I have always handled the tubes with soft rags or towels, they've had a good life :)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I thought the amp had died a few years ago, it turned out to be a couple of bad 5687's. I had a tube amp repair place in Sydney take a look at it and found nothing wrong.
