Congrats and good luck!

 

Can't help but bemoan why just about every custom IEM maker are bumping the price of their products in Japan though.

I think it's just that the Yen is in a massive freefall at the moment... Japan has been in trouble, economically, for some time, and cash inflation is part of their strategy out of this mess.

Obviously, with the new government deliberately targeting 2% inflation rate. Japan's economy is weird like that; weaker yen benefits the economy more than stronger yen due to high reliance on exports and domestic consumption.

 

Don't mind me though, even though I know the reason why custom IEM maker are bumping the prices (hint : it has little to do with the current state of Japanese economy), I'm just bemoaning that people outside Japan are able to purchase custom IEMs cheaper than the amount of money I'd have to pay for the same product. But then again I'm getting paid according to Japanese salary standards, so I guess it's all fair.
