Okay why doesn't someone just buy two of the same headphone, burn one in for 400 hours ask a random hifier to listen to them both and take a test? This should be a scientific experiment.

Some headphones of the same model/batch do not sound the same right out of the box. Burn in won't change anything...

Bought a headset gave someone a listen too it and they said were is the bass. One week later same person same song tried it on and said wow nice bass did you exchange it for another pair?? When I explained it was the same exact headset they didn't believe me. Lol
