Have a several year old Bravo Audio V1 6N11 Tube Hybrid amp that I recently did some upgrade mods to.
Mods:
1. New power switch
2. Replaced IRF630 to IRL530 (increases frequency range and reduces distortion)
3. Replaced LM317 with LM317A (reduces possible oscillations)
4. Replaced the power capacitor with one with proper voltage headroom
5. Replaced the output caps (increases lower frequency range)
The power cable has also been shortened a few inches.
The mods definitely made this sound cleaner and quieter. Sounds great, gobs of gain (a pair of AKG K1000 actually sounded pretty good out of this!) I think this amp, especially after the mods, could sell for twice its price and still be a good value. Can take 6922 tubes if you want to roll different ones from the stock Chinese 6N11 that is included.
This has been a really fun and amazing amp to own, but I must reduce how much audio stuff I have.
It is in good condition for its age, the bottom plate has some hotglue on it (was using it as an anti-slide fix before I added rubber feet).
