Time to ask ourselves again, what are we going to do for the rest of the year and up until new season starts... :p

Red Bull had better cars and Ferrari should had been ahead of Mercedes.

Exactly.

I guess that I'm going to watch some footage of the good old days...

I'm going to hope for next season. And I'm going to win a few more races in my local karting championship, thinking that, one day, it could be me inside one of those silly racing cars...

How about simracing never get old :)

Finished a 24h Le Mans event last week. That was truly epic.

Watch some Top Gear.

That was a nice, proper race to send off the season. Some rain would have been nice, but I wasn't ever in danger of being bored. Really looking forward to next year though!

Yeah, I thought so, too.  And the tire problems were awesome, really.

Alonso really is a championship driver no matter what and I'm a Kimi fan more so maybe, but Alonso just did a phenomenal job this year.  Vettel... 13 and 9... yeah.  Can't deny it.

Great stuff for the most part.

Any clue how Webber will do with his new gig?

So far, Webber's 24 Hours Le Mans career had 2 starts, both DNF..

Well, he somehow always ends up with a bad car. His LeMans flight is pretty famous.

The best part of that event was that the Mercedes CLR got airborn 3 times, once in qualifying, and two crashed out in the race....with Webber doing his backflip, and his teammate ending up in the forest.

I wonder where Checo is going, and why McLaren let him go...?

And what's with the driver shuffle anyway? I understand why Raikkonen would move, but the rest of the field seemed pretty well set. Especially Hulkenberg.

My theory on Perez is that he was supposed to be better than Button and not by just a little. Button is one of my favorite drivers out there but let's be honest, he's not in the top 5 "best/quickest/ect." drivers in F1. Button was supposed to be the Rubens Barrichello or Webber to Perez. Sure Perez needed to adjust, but he was expected to be quick right out of the gate.

McLaren had just lost Hamilton who is easily a top 5 driver, they needed to replace that. Thats why people are suprised with his replacement.... but McLaren wants to catch lightning in a bottle like they did with Hamilton, or like BMW had with Vettel. They want an honest to goodness #1 driver and Perez isn't it, to be honest I don't think he ever could have been, Kobyashi out qualified him a bit at Sauber.
