I bought these last year for this exact same price, but have no time to bring them to their full potential so I prefer to pass them on to a new owner.
The TDS-15 are Russian phones with large orthodynamic drivers. They are somewhat special not only because they are rare in the West, but because they manage to combine a large driver, open cups, and very low impedance.
Sound is open, with plenty of bass and lots of air. A new set of pads (see below) will probably improve both comfort and sound.
The cable is terminated with a new Neutrik angled 3.5 plug.
Their Achille's heels are pads, which are always completely stiff and with dried out foam. I replaced them with some non-porous foam which is not ideal but does a decent job. The old dried up pads will be included with the phones, with some patience you can probably find a set of more comfortable pads which give a better seal, and swap them (very easy, as they are glued in place -- I used double-sided adhesive tape).
