I'm reopening this listing. I had previously sold the Asgard, but the first buyer unfortunately found a problem with the volume knob that I previously had not encountered. The volume knob is a bit loose and sometimes doesn't always turn smoothly. There is no functional problem with the amp, you just need to fiddle with the knob on occasion. I contacted Jason from Schiit and he said that the amp should not run differently or suffer from this. It'll just take a bit longer to adjust the volume. Please keep this in mind and don't purchase this amp if you feel this'll be an issue.

 

For sale is my Schiit Asgard (115V, US edition). Great amp, runs great, does well with both high and low impedance cans. I'm the third owner I believe and it's about a year and a half old, but it still runs great and is in great condition. I'd say a 7.5/10 on the Audiogon scale. 

 

I'm selling since I got a Gilmore Lite that's slightly better for my headphones and has a better form factor. I don't need both of these amps, so the Asgard is going. Also adding a few interconnects (RCA cables, RCA to 3.5mm, 3.5mm to 3.5mm, RCA to iPod).

 

Asking for $150 shipped, inclusive of PayPal. This price is firm, although I am wiling to consider trades. CONUS only please.

I'm the third owner, so the warranty doesn't carry over. Also, I believe the warranty is 2 years, not 5.

Just to correct you on the warranty, it's the Modi and Magni that have a 2 year warranty. Aside from tubes and accessories, all other Schiit products carry a 5 year warranty.

Yup, just looked at their website. Either way, their warranty doesn't transfer across owners, so I still can't do anything.

Do you know if the knob easily replaceable? Would this be something I could find on mouser or something and take the one off and solder a new one on? 

Or would schiit not release that info?

Honestly, the knob is less of an issue than I make it out to be. It's a bit loose, but not enough to affect performance.
