I own a pair of Bose On Ear headphones that I bought about 3 years ago, and I was happy with them for a while until I realized that I couldn't hear little details in my music, sometimes during the start of a song or end of a song. Little details like countdowns or studio banter. I thought it was just due to the Bose headphones not being audiophile-level and not being able to bring out those details. I got curious one day and I bought this monstrous cable;
and I cannot express how different the music sounds now. I can hear musicians talking at the start/end of songs and other little details that I didn't think were going to be heard with Bose headphones. Now I'm thinking of stepping up my headphones to entry-level audiophile headphones, but I'm looking for a pair with a detachable cable so I can keep using this cable.
Does this seem like a fluke? Is this even possible? The soundstage on the headphones is drastically different now.
Thanks for any input.
