Hi

 

Tempted to do the iriver 120 ssd mod.  Found the kingspec ssd for a reasonable price but wanted to know one thing.  If I'm doing a straight swop from hd to ssd do I need any sort of adapter?  I was under the (wrong?)  impression that a kingspec with ide would just be a straight swop.

 

I just wish there were 256gig ssds in that form!

 

I know that if you are doing a cf mod then you do need an adaptor.
