How to copy FLAC files to droid/MP3 Player?

Hey guys, I'm just getting into FLAC and ripped a couple CDs using EAC and listen to the songs using Foobar2000. Is there a way to copy he files from my laptop to my droid razr? Also, would I be better off buying an MP3 player for all my music? would it be better quality and more storage capacity?

 

Any help is appreciated.

I don't think droid takes FLAC, change it to WAV or 320KB Mp3 and It'll work, you just need to download a plugin for your foobar.

If you want it to take flac , download poweramp or neutron or one of the audiophile player application , then it is just a simple matter of dragging and dropping your music foldrr

Hey,

 

Might give a little bit of help here since I am a Droid Razr user also.

 

What Retrias said is right, a 3rd party software could do the job, BUT if you already have ICS on the Razr then just copy paste the FLAC to your phone like you would normally do for normal MP3s. Give it time to scan the directory and finally you will see your music in the usual My Music built in player.

 

No need to spend any bucks on it.

Yes, I've downloaded poweramp a couple weeks ago, I just don't know how to transfer the files. I tried hooking my phone up via USB cable and it wont recognize it....

Strange, have you tried installing Motocast on the computer? (I don't think having Motocast is compulsary but it would be better to try it for safety measures)

 

Usually you just plug in the phone and choose Mass Storage option so you can navigate the files in your phone.

Its better safe than sorry , have you set the android into mtp mode ? Instead of ptp ? Ussually manufacturer package their driver into the phone software, so you should install that, then use the sync method of your choice (drag and drop, software sync )
