What do you mean with exporting? Outputting an analog waveform and recording it with another device?

You can do a mixdown using your DAW only. It'll combine all your tracks into whatever format you choose (mono, stereo, 5.1, ...). This is done purely in software, so there's not even need for ASIO for exporting.

Check your DAW's menu for export or mixdown.

You'd only need a D/A and A/D converter if you want to do analog summing or have hardware effect processors.

Afaik not, export functionality just sums all tracks. Theoretically you don't even need a sound card for that.

What's your DAW?
