Okay, this is as clear as i can be. I want a headphone that has leather earpads that are very supple, a low impedance under 60, neutral sound, very large soundstage, closed back, all music gernes headphone that can also be used for movies and gamming.

Whelp, I think you're going to have to compromise, friend. There are closed headphones that have a fairly large soundstage, but nothing competes with open cans when it comes to having a very large soundstage.

Well, the last thing i would want is open back. I listen in very noisy enviroments(family watches tv on very high volume) but i want a soundstage that is the best that it can be in closed back headphones.

I haven't had very much experience with closed headphones... never really was bothered by outside noise as I enjoyed being able to hear what was going on around me.

Right now I just have the DT 1350 and my heavily modded D1001. Both are fantastic, but I can't say their soundstage compared to the likes of an SR-225i.

I also don't have the same opinion about most $200-300 headphones that a lot of people on this forum have as I think my modded D1001 provides the most pleasurable sound for a full sized < $300.

So, Is the AKG K550 the best for me?

The head pad is very large and I have a medium sized head.

I think you should read through the Mr. Speaker Mad Dog review thread. I think these might be your best bet.
