I have given up on the in-ear, after over 25 different attempts I have come to the conculsion that my ears are just not made or to sensitive for them. I would like recommendations on around/over ear headphones. Before I new anything about headphones I had a pair of bose QC3's which were very comfortable and I used for years. Once they finally broke I decided to go for in-ears but never found anything. So I am trying to go back to larger around ears, as they are more comfortable to me then on-ears and from what I have read provide better isolation with less need for feeling squeezing tight to the head. So far I have tried the Vmoda M-100, Parrot Ziks, UE 9000, and UE 6000. The 9000 and Ziks were kinda heavy and I decide to go wired instead. The UE 6000 felt cheap and had major problems with the connector to my iphone and to the headphones. The M-100 felt durable and great except I was hoping for something with a little more isolation and the major problem was the ear cups like the Ziks were to shallow and no large enough for my ears.
I was hoping for alot of recommendations for me to start trying with these qualifications.
-Larger and Deeper Ear Cups then M-100's
-Hopefully they fold up a little to be a little portable, even though they are large around ear headphones.
They don't have to be active noise isolating, my max price is $300. I was looking at the Momentum's, but don't really like the style, don't look the least bit portable, and I read the earcups might also be slightly small. Thanks for all recommendations in advance.
