Besides as far a mid-bass slam...nothing beats the Pro 900.

 

So like people have mentioned you will need to EQ...something

D2000 or DT770, in my experience. The Sony MDR-V6 actually has pretty good bass impact, despite what you might read. They do need a little extra juice to deliver this though (a la Fiio E11).
