I am solemnly selling my BHKE (Blue Hawaii Kerry Edition), due to money constraints, which was meticulously built to SE
standards under Kevin Gilmore's advice and mentoring.
This was hand built by a fellow Head-Fier. He is one of our best non-professional amp builders. Username: Kerry.
This is a one-off Blue Hawaii built exclusively to my personal requirements. It is the only one of it's kind.
It consists of a matching custom made 2-box chassis, custom blue metallic flake paint job done at a motorcycle custom shop,
independent AC and DC umbilicals to isolate and improve the signal noise RFI/EMI ratio. Also Kerry improved heat issues by
using special materials for the pot and the unique custom made volume knob. Chassis heat sinks take over any heat dissipation duties.
Kerry also included many of his own well thought out innovation designs that are unique to this amp, such as a circuit which terminates
the voltage to the umbilicals if they sense that they are not connect to the amp from the power supply.
*This unit contains both Balanced and Single Ended selectable inputs.
This Blue Hawaii is one of the best sounding electrostat amps that money can buy, and is built to provide years of trouble-free performance.
I also have an upgraded matched Quad set of Winged-C EL34's for $100 more.
