My recommendation is the W3, but you'd have to go a bit higher.

I'd say the Klipsch X10 would be a great choice, I use mine a lot with EDM as that's mainly all I listen to.  They have very good bass with mids that are a bit forward (forward mids work great for EDM because that's the frequency range where most of the music is)  and smooth highs that aren't harsh with a soundstage that is quite spacious for a small single BA.  The X10 is only around $100 on Amazon and for that price its a excellent deal.

Probably audio technica cks99.

There is a decent sized fan base for TPEOS H-100 that seem to work especially well for EDM. You should check out that appreciation thread.

The H-100 is a horrible for EDM and I have no clue why people would say they're good with it.  The mids are to recessed that you miss out on so much because of the overly bright highs and the only good part of the presentation is the bass along with a decent soundstage.  The H-100 was by far the worst IEM I've ever heard that cost over $100, it can't understand why people like it with its AM radio sounding mids.

For under $200 the X10 is one of the best choices when it comes to EDM.  I've been using mine for the past 2 hours and they sound great with what ever style you listen to whether its trance, prog, techno, minimal, dub, psy and so on.

If you can stretch your budget a little, the UE TripleFi 10 is supposedly great for EDM.

Yeah I forgot about the good old TF10's, they're very good for EDM and are around $220 give or take on Amazon and they'ed be probably your best options.

I'm sorry but I just couldn't stand those, they really sounded that bad to me.  It wasn't like I had a bad pair that's just how they sound.  I need to change my signature because the FXT90 while I don't like them either sound better than the H-100.

No worries at all mate, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I was just teasing you on using the big words wink_face.gif

I agree that H-100 is not for everyone, and its mid is pretty bad, I just like everything else about it...
