Buying new headphones. narrowed down to 3 help please

Hello recently i have had alot of help from people narrowing my choise down alot here is whats i have left.
ultrasone HFI-780

DT-770-Pro Studio Headphones - Limited Edition, 32 OHMS(88th anniversery)

ATH-PRO700 MK2(not concidered anymore)

 

ultrasone hfi 580 a maybe

 

 

 

i listen to, dubstep electro house nightcore rap pop heavy metal rock punk screamo. and so on :)

I love bass and clear music... reason i wanted headset is i tryed my friends beats pro(i know theyre overpriced ****, but the bass was there) it made me fall in love in thumping bass shaking my skull..

 

I will not use an amp for this yet if i woud buy a amp it woud be the fiio e6 becouse it's cheap.

will listen with pc and mobile using youtube spotify and mp3's.


please advice on which one of these 3 i shoud go for (i dont enjoy muddy bass that much, know beats pro has this.)

 

what i like

thumping bass

clear highs

clear mids

good lows

something that will not get muddy or bad sound quality turned to the max

 

please try to explain in detail why and why not as this will be better then just telling me what pair i shoud get

Ultrasone HFI 580.

 

Reason:

 

You want to turn it to the max. The DT770 will distort if you do this. It's a great headphone, but not to be "max volumed". The PRO700MK2 is going to be mud at high volumes too.


Also, since you're listening to spotify and PC source, well, I assume most of your collection of Dub/NightC/EDM/Rap/ScreamO are likely not audiophile level recordings, and compressed on top of that. So I wouldn't get a super resolving headphone.

If you're going to use spotify and youtube... I honestly see no reason to spend lods on money on headphones.

 

+1 on the HFI-580. From what I hear it's bassier than the HFI780 as well, while being slightly cheaper.

I'd go Ultrasone for what you want:

 

HFI-580 - More bass

HFI-780 - More balanced, but still solid bass, and a bit more refined than 580. 

 

I own the 780. It's still a v-shaped frequency curve. If you like to have clearer mids, I'd go 780.

+1 for 580 (if bass quantity/money saving is your top priority) otherwise 780, can't love them enough basshead.gif

nah idc bout money  :p just want good headphones xD buying 780's and doing the  paper removal mod. Then its bout same bass as 580 just +++ alot soundquality

What you are looking for is a night club, not a headphone. Or a car with a nice subwoofer.

Don't get me wrong, but all you will end up with is tinnitus if you blast it too loud with headphones.

i dont blast too loud :p just want good bass and well wolfetan, im gonna try them soon and decide which pair. just need some way to get to the store its 2hour drive :/
