On the contrary it'd BOLSTER resale value.
Didn't you buy it months ago? Wait until it fails, then send it back, then wait till a year, then do it. Adapters don't fix the core problem that the mod alleviates. Which is a schiity mechanism put on in the first place. Not to mention the strain on the cable.
It'll take longer than a year for it to fail for me though since I'm still really careful with them so I'd have to pay for the discounted refurb pair if warranty is expired or whatever. Or the repair cost for it. Well I already bought adapters so its likeeeeeee. Iono. If I ever upgrade cables again to balanced maybe I'll do it.
Also the he-500? I bought it like 1-2 months ago. Cables I'm still waiting for an invoice.

Even those CKS1000s mang, nothing compares to the tactile feel of a planar (well except for 500s those suck)
Plus i ain't messing with crazy amp/ dacs just tryin' to juice them up, wayyy too much work for me. I am a happy camper already with just my MH1Cs and my S500s. All the rest is just overkill already. haha
