Didn't you buy it months ago? Wait until it fails, then send it back, then wait till a year, then do it. Adapters don't fix the core problem that the mod alleviates. Which is a schiity mechanism put on in the first place. Not to mention the strain on the cable.

It'll take longer than a year for it to fail for me though since I'm still really careful with them so I'd have to pay for the discounted refurb pair if warranty is expired or whatever. Or the repair cost for it. Well I already bought adapters so its likeeeeeee. Iono. If I ever upgrade cables again to balanced maybe I'll do it.

Also the he-500? I bought it like 1-2 months ago. Cables I'm still waiting for an invoice.

Ehhhh, not really, reading what you'll just posted it's a damn shame that the maker didn't put detachable on them stock. I have standards man, for such a $$$ headphone without that feature is a FAIL to me. I ain't buying that sh!T even if i had the dough. Again ehhhh, i could have gotten those CKS1Ks for $150 like new but those stupid earbud/ iem housing hurt my ears, so i didn't get them and got the FXZs instead. See kiddies this is what playing around in the budget-fi arena teaches you. You now know what you truly want and what standards you have and have set.
