Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Anywho it's kinda obvious that Em' is trying to stay relevant with all funky stuff he has been releasing of late. When is his new album dropping anyways??? I assume it will be pretty soon... hope it's not Detox/ Yoon Mi Rae soon. T_T   LMAO

Album coming sometime next month. I really don't understand the importance of relevancy. It comes up a lot when discussing these "new rappers" and older rappers. The newer generation of hip-hop fans don't seem to understand an artist never stops working. It's a chosen career path so if they decide to continue releasing material, then they have the right to do so as it is their career.

Alls i am saying is that Em' seems to be a Twi-Hard nowadays in order to stay "relevant" whatever the hell that means and you can hear it in his sound/ new beats he is trying out. He use to be so effortless and just didn't give a Fff, which was why he was so entertaining. Now he just seems.....

... angry for angry/ stylistic sake.

Lol if trying out new beats and whatever make you a try hard, what do you think that makes new rappers nowadays?

SWAG???

Dem mofos are hipsters and are youngin's meng, so they are gunning for their own piece of the pie by doing random @ss ish. But Em' is a veteran yet he is messin' around with lackluster production like that Rap God track.  Not saying that trying new styles/ beats is a bad thing but it still gots to be tasteful and true to that hip hop spirit. Imagine if Nas does something like that. haha

Alright enough of me blowing hot air....

Its just a beat though, says a lot of ill stuff that is still true to himself, besides, I highly doubt he produced it and only rapped on it since it would match his flow

Actually been listening to the old epik high albums of late and some of them are pretty damn good, the more recent/ electro beats ones are pretty meh though. Still not a big epik high fan but hope their upcoming release will be as good as the best from their past. :)
