Black Star - probably my all-time favourite group (Roots and OutKast would probably come in at close second but the gap between first and second place in this case is too great).

But Bo don't know jack, cause Bo can't rap
Well whaddya know? the Di-Dawg is first up to bat
No batteries included, and no strings attached

Gots to get the loot so I can bring home the bacon
Brothers front, they say the Tribe can't flow

Head to the border, go get a taco
I'll be wreckin from the jump street, meaning from the get-go

3) Snoop Dogg- No need for an example, come on son...

Greatest stage performance can't be done via quote, sorry.

1) Redman

2) Tupac

3)Ghostface killah

Yet another Canadian, welcome! This thread's getting littered with them nowadays, sfwalcer's probably crying in his maple syrup by now.

actually best example is in GZA's shadowboxin' song, theres a reason he got 2 verses in that song, every rhyme was so fluid onto the next

Question: Which rapper in your opinion is/has -

             1. Best lyricist

             2. Best flow

             3. Greatest stage presence

Just curious.

             1. Best lyricist: Rakim(for his time)

             2. Best flow: Rakim

             3. Greatest stage presence: Method Man

I think the last 2 is purely based on preferences, hard to actually pin that down

I went for the era the MC was in to determine best lyricist cuz by the time Rakim set the possibilities of rap, you have unheard-of rappers that can plain **** on any rapper current or old

             1. Best lyricist: Mos Def, Talib, Andre 3k, K Dot, etc.
             2. Best flow: Mos Def for sure. <big gap> K Dot, Bun B (yes),
             3. Greatest stage presence: As long as the show is good, anyone.

Why the heck would we want him back? It was hard enough to get him out of here, what do you think we are, stupid or something, eh? Wanna fight aboot it?

Hopefully he goes off and focuses on his Norwegian market or something so we don't have to see his ugly mug for a good long time. Let him go dance with those freaky-Euro clowns...

I didn't know Drake was bad.  Tells you how much I know about hip hop these days.  I'm all about old school but I don't mind some of the new stuff.

Well at least it was not lil' Wayne. So you get a pass. biggrin.gif Drake is actually not that bad when he 1st debuted, but not great as everyone make him out to be as well. Did he really won the Grammys this year with "Take, Care" for hip hop album??? LMAO, just goes to show how legit these award shows are.
