Pisssssh you don't even own no audio gears, how you got addicted to head-fi is still very much a mystery to me. LoL Tell me why you're on head-fi again???  : P

meh, Teayeon is overrated just like fany, still don't understand why she is so popular. At least Yoona has the looks to back up for popularity, oh right Teayeon is the best singer in the group. But still is Kpop whos really listens to the singing anyways.......

^ There you go with that BSssssssssssssssss again. heeeeeeee deadhorse.gif

You see... I actually forgot the reason why I made a Head-Fi account. I was a lurker 3-4 years prior to making this account (didn't lurk all those years, but I lurked 3-4 years ago). Animu thread helped me stay here, I guess. At first I didn't like it, but I came to like it. And got addicted. It's like how people get addicted to reddit.

^ Welp there mus be a audio gear that made you stumble onto this site for some reason. You don't just join a gear forum without owning any, so what was it that got you hooked???

Anywho, new Logic is pretty nice, good mix and balance, much better than the last mixtape. Some goodies.........

I found out about head-fi, while looking up that cheapo, Thermaltake Tts i got from slickdeals, haha. Also Bok Choy talked about it from time to time on that soompi korean hip hop thread. Then read about the the Tts hype on Ds "discovery thread" and it was GAME OVA' for me. triportsad.gif Got hooked in my Ds hype ever-since.

We're telling entry stories now?

6-7 years ago I received a pair of HD580s. It's all been downhill from here. End of story.

^ they mostly made computer parts so was interesting that they got into making audio gears. Yeah those Tt iems were ok, not really my cup of tea though, esp. that housing design, but can't really fault it much since it cost me $10 with a crazy nice package/ accessories. Still is one of the best packaged iem i have bought to date. ATH/ JVC should be ashamed for those cheap packages of theirs. haha

So did you end up getting any of those cans, i was interested in the 1Rs but their sound siggy didn't fit my needs, plus there were numerous other small issues which made them not so great.

never knew they went into sound until you told me. Their computer products in general are meh.

Nope, my eyes went somewhere else.

Quite a few issues... I'm guessing the loose (in some cases) TRS connector that plugs into the phones, they're plastic, and they chip easily?

^ well for one thing they went for like $300 originally and they are all plastic, then there is that air vent on the top of the cups, so when it's windy out you get a lot of wind noise. Lately there is that rattling issue on the headphone jack, which creates more cable noise that shouldn't be there in the 1st place.

I hope they address all these issues in their next edition and change the sonic siggy into a more audiophile bass set of cans, like ATH WS99, etc. I love their design to death though.

^ didn't know you were a sony fanboi, though it does seem that sony in general these days is either a hit or miss. They seem to be really slow in giving what people really want, and is always lagging behind the trends. But it does seem like they are stepping up their game of late, so there should be lots of great stuff in the near future.

:> ikr? but it's a bang-for-buck entry can.

Liquid Crystal Polymer. The new diaphragm material they installed in the z1000/mdr-7520/mdr-1r instead of the older PET. The bio-cell was expensive to make. Don't know what happened to the nano-composite. The sa5000 was splendid in terms of detail retrieval
