Ain't cheesy master troll, just another solid bangerz ya know?

Actually grabbed the full OST....dang even trashy mainstream ballad stuff 7 years from now sounds better than the stuff today.

speaking of which some noteworthy ones

Gungrave ost's Uno Lefthead, and Righthead, Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann, Trigun First Donuts, Mushishi

Been using Gungrave CD's for test tracks forever.

They be so bangerzing even the Fonz approves.

^^ All solid animu.

Especially Mushshi. People pan it down as being overly philosophical bullcrud and panders. I find the pace calming and reads like a slowly unrolling canvas. Just beautiful.

I actually scored the entire 7 episode boxset of Giant Robo on Saturday. Really cool also. Have to say though that as far as character development Gungrave is tops, then for sheer utter throw  common sense to the curb aspect nothing beats Gurren Lagann.

be sure to checkout Redline too. bbztbbzzzzzt an-ni-me- sp-ea-kk - ov-er.

ooops also I assume you have seen the live action Mushishi? Amazingly accurate to the couple of episodes it covers.

ZEEBRA - Zeus 2000

Good stuff nick, hey you got a new avatar it's about damn time. biggrin.gif Any other artist besides Zeebra that gots them bangers???

I am thinking more along the line of these:

Ya' know something that got a hard @ss beat with a catchy hook, etc.  Dat Zeebra was kinda too soft for my liking, need it to bang mo'. tongue.gif

Yes yes yes yes yes. Giant Robo is beyond words for me. Top 30, if not top 25 (I'm tight with the numbers as I've stopped keeping track). Let me go over and watch it.

Gungrave was very nice, Gurren Lagann kicked in at around part 2-3, hard to get into. They say that it was a way to vent out the psychological frustrations that came to past after the studio finished Eva. Didn't know that when I watched it, but guess it gives the spastic pace some meaning.

Watched Redline. Guy did work for Giant Robo and part of Animatrix as well (my personal fav - World Record)

/endanimetalk (please please please go on the anime lounge or the serious anime thread if you have the time, it's fun but everyone gushes over the new stuff all the time so hard to strike a really meaningful convo)

Yep, caught the live action. If I start up on that one I'll probably get tapped out on positive superlatives.

oh and The Redline guy also did a short one Called Trava Fist Planet , even the two characters from that are in Redline. ( lobster dude that eats the worm pasta )

and for utter bizzarity, even more than FLCL, is one called Sexy Commando. In...sane period. Odd simpler artwork, and honestly geared towards (???) age group it is so screwed.

Will put animu stuff in spoilers (Click to show)

Something being more bizarre than FLCL is pretty hard to imagine. I know I should've gotten into Sexy Commando but somehow never found the opportunity. I really need to do so....

Gives off a similar vibe from Desert Punk and the likes though. But going to assume that it's more about the surreal humor from what I've noticed out of my old Jump magazines. The title and art is kinda like Onani Master Kurosawa from what I see as well.

But surrealism doesn't always work for me. Bobobobobobobobobob (I really don't know how many bo's) was a massive failure at times.
