New Recommendations for Headphones~ New to Forum :)

Hey guys I was looking to get some nice audiophile headphones with an amp. I have a budget of 350$ (MAX MAX MAX) that I would like to spend on a set of headphones and I really don't want to spend more than 100$ on an AMP/DAC (I might go for the NuForce uDac2). Basically I would like a little more bass emphasize than normal but doesn't have to be bass heavy. I will only use this pair of headphones on my PC and I would like something that is lightweight and doesn't make my head hurt. I'm mainly looking for quality don't really care about looks. Some of the headphones I've been thinking about are:

- Beyerdynamic DT 880, 990 (Don't know which Ohm :s)

- Sennheiser Amperior, HD598, HD600 (If under 400$ and is not scam, I live in the US so I dont have shipping issues)

- Perhaps the V-Moda M-100 but I heard they are extremely bass heavy and not to sure weather their mids and highs can compare to Senn's

I basically am really new to this whole community and a little help in getting my first headphones would be much appreciated. :):)

what is the difference between 880's and 990's, how do they compare to the Sennheiser HD598's (Sorry but I am in crazy love with the HD598's looks). On amazon the 990's are cheaper than 880's so it confuses me :P Also I listen a lot to rock, classical and many different type of techno, I also listen to a bit of K-Pop since I do play starcraft 2 like crazy :D

mainly rock and classical music though, I don't really care if it doesnt sound amazing with techno or kpop since thats music i listen when im gaming or when im on the road.

Aren't the Q701's with little bass though? Because other people have told me that if I'm looking for some bass then I should not take the Q701's, again I really have no idea what a lot of bass means and what little bass means as it is a relative term. 

A big factor that is important for me is that the earpiece is relatively large because I would prefer if it had an oval ear piece shape however the HIFI's are already large so it doesnt really matter with them. What are your opinions on the Fidelio L1 and the Sony MDR1R?

HE300 sounds promising, but as I do a lot of gaming and would like nice sound when playing some epic single player games which headphones would you recommend if i also want to use them for music (rock, techno, I dont need an extremely strong bass, just a little warmer than average). Im mainly looking at how well it can reproduce the 3D effect.
