Sennheiser HD 419

hello , first of all im sorry that my first post here is a question , but i'm not so good in understanding headphones specs

up till a few days ago i've been happy with my in ears which came with my samsung galaxy s plus , operating them at 80-90% volume because higher than that the sound gets distorted , but i wanted to try some over ear headphones , and asking my friends i only got the answers "skullcandy" and "beats" (1'm 17) , which after browsing around forums , i knew they werent at all good for their price

and having a tight budget i chose the HD 419 which as other things are pretty expensive here in egypt ($68.15) so do you think they will be good for me or can i look around for others if you know some around the HD 419's price range

i'm not good with knowing the genre of music xD , so lets say bands , i listen to things like piano covers of songs , cascada, linkin park, adele and a lot of TRANCE ! in addition to watching movies

i like them all to be moderate , nothing overpowering the other (i'm not sure if you can understand that but i'm not so good at expressing myself) ,some bass but not so much , clear vocals and i very much like hearing the small sounds hidden in the music background

but the thing i so much hate in some headphones i've used is the music being very high compared vocals making them nearly unhearable

Nothing is ever harsh but all the details come out really good.  Bass isn't super big, it has a nice little punch and is tight as well, It stays out of the Mids, The Mids are nice and smooth with a great relaxing sound. Very Detailed even for being Darker, Same with the treble.  Is has a nice smooth range without becoming harsh..  Sound Stage is decent but not the best, I'd say about average for a lower end closed can...Not bad at all really...
