Portable Sabre DAC/Amp?

Can anyone recommend a portable DAC/Amp which uses the Sabre DAC?

I don't know a singly portable device which has the Sabre in it... Some of the best stuff goes up to 24/192, such as the Astell & Kern AK100 DAP. And that one has only been out for a week or so! It would be surprising to me if there was any portable 32bit stuff available right now.

Hi, thanks for replying. I'm considering getting the iBasso DX100, which is Sabre equipped, but I'm also considering a Galaxy S3 with digital usb going into a DAC/Amp combo . I figure the second option would make it easier to upgrade DAC/Amps in the future. Plus I'm not sure how long the battery would last over the lifespan of the DX100. PS- I've read 2 less than enthusiastic reviews about the AK100 (including one on Headfonia).

Oh, I was not of aware of the DX100, I'm sorry! The AK100 is, like anything tiny and expensive, rather controversial wink.gif there are great and not-so great reviews about it, you're right.

The upcoming HiFiMan HM-901 uses ESS Sabre DACs.

if youre plugging it in into our s3:

 

stoner acoustics ud100

hifimediy (ebay store name) odac "clone"

odac

 

you need a separate amp for them for volume control i think
