Questions about Beyerdynamic DT880 Premium (32 ohm)

Hi all,

as per the title, I need to ask you some questitions regarding the Beyerdynamic DT880 Premium (32 ohm version).

 

Currently I'm using a Sennheiser PC360 plugged in to an Asus Xonar DG, and I'm wondering if the DT880 would be an improvement over my headset in terms of sound quality; if so, will my DG be able to pilot it properly? If there are better headphones in the €100 - €250 range, please let me know.

My main interests are playing games and listening to various music genres.

 

Also, what do you think about the Stax SR-50 in comparison with the DT880?

The dt-880 should not be significantly better.. Also it is said, that the 32 ohm version is not that good. You should rather go for 80.

I couldn't find the 80 ohm version on amazon. Where else can I look?
