Introduction
The easiest way to explain the Sennheiser CX-150's is that they do what you can reasonably expect. You can't really expect much from a pair of sub-50 dollar IEM's, and frankly, I...
Who/what?
I'd like to thank Rhapsodio for sending the 2v1 our way for a tour, along with the Shozy amp. Australia isn't exactly a hot electronics place
First off - Rhapsodio is a young IEM...
I used this amp mainly with a pair of HD 650 and it does what it is supposed to do: it has way more power than I need, it's quiet and it makes everything sound in its place. I have never heard...
Hi, I have a choice of getting one of these headphones and am not sure of which one would fit my liking more. I'm not a huge fan of bass I'm more of a, "Midhead." I am aware the 990 is open air which is fine with me.
The mids aren't amazing on the 770s without increasing volume and are kind of dominated by the bass/highs. Not sure what the 990s are like, but I dunno if I'd go with bassy headphones if your into mids.
My preference would be the DT990. The DT770 is a good headphone but after a while, that dominant bass can become a little jarring. The DT990 also has quite a bass kick but not as much as the 779.
The DT990 has a 'u' shaped FR curve. I guess that you have to choose one or the other?
One headphone that I find more balanced is the AKG K601 and if it's still available, can be had for a really good price.
