Awesome suggestions all.  I am glad you fixed it.  Drivers are a necessary evil.  I have had so many driver updates cause adverse effects that I rarely update my drivers once I have a stable and fast system.

Ya, drivers are a necessary evil. Thanks a lot for all the help! and wow, must've just got it, grabbed it before work this morning!

Seems every once in awhile someone has serious issues with Windows audio. OS X Core Audio has been amazing for me, but most people have no problem with Windows, though I imagine a lot of users on Head-Fi that run Windows use WASAPI or ASIO drivers anyways which should be more reliable.

Hmm new issue now, the white noise is solved, but now randomly during playback it will stop playing music and just play pure loud static and skreetching.  It is horrific lol.  I will try to catch it on video and post it back.  It usually only lasts a few seconds then goes back to the song.

Try disabling all other audio devices in the system. That is very strange but it sounds like an error in the software somewhere.
