E12 is far more better. 

I got the E11 for comparison. The E11 is warm, sweet bassy. The E12 is sweet but much more neutral and unabashed at showing some audio muscle.

Colored sound and bass likers should go E11. But then again. They arent even in same price range

I passed on the E12 because from what I read it don't do much for basshead like the E11 did. I might buy it later on in the year but right now my interest is more towards the JDS Labs C5. I don't expect the C5 to do much for basshead either, I just prefer the C5 design over the E12.

I'm hoping the E18 can satisfy us bassheads but it seems like FiiO is heading in an different direction.

There is a standalone bass boosting processor available, just can't remember what its called.

The E18 bypasses Android DAC's(that have that ability).

 

It looks like it also has an amp though. I believe it was $100-$150? 

I think a bit more. And also just an FYI panda boy - HTC looks like they are gonna start pushing USB audio to all there new devices, an even as updates for recent ones that have USB Audio. - Heres me hoping for the One X or One S

Don't know if you guys noticed, but it's going for $129 USD at the Micca Store (and in stock). I never bought from these guys, but Fiio posted it on their Facebook page, so unless there's some mean tricks going on...enjoy!

Micca Store is a totally legit FiiO dealer.....I've bought several things from there.

They are not only legit, but a fully authorized fiio dealer(avoid fakes, get warranty) tht has close to the entire fiio line.
