Hope you're right about those Cables.... I ordered a pair last night!

There's no problem with replacement cables for these, they are just standard jack connections. Use whatever you want!

If you're referring to my post, the information is correct.

I use the same cable with my X1's.

Have owned this headphone for about 3 months now. Felt like posting here now just to say that i'm continously struck by how coherent-sounding these headphones are. Very masterfully designed sound in these headphones here..

I asked the same thing in the Focal Spirit Professional thread, but can anybody who owns the HP50 provide a picture of the earpad opening with a quarter inside it, taken at a straight-on angle?  I'm trying to compare ear-pad opening sizes to see if it would be a right fit for me.  The quarter allows me to have a point of reference that allows me to resize accordingly in photoshop.  Good lighting or flash is preferable so I can see the earpad vs the opening clearly.

thanks, might get it. I guess 3.5mm to 1/4 cables are pretty hard to find these days.

Definitely more so than 3.5 to 3.5, and adapters are very inexpensive.

Btw, has anyone found a nice heaphone hardcase that matches these headphones well?
I would prefer something with a little better protection than the softcase provided.

Thanks

Here you go. The flash on my Note 2 washes everything out, but I *think* there is enough natural light this time of day to suffice.

Thank you.

Are those pads fraying?

Not at all, still in perfect shape. The one one I wasn't holding for the shot had a small smudge on it though. The rest is just really poor light on a glass desk.

That's a relief!
