Good looking, sounding, and durable headphones.

Hello, I'm new to head-fi and I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

I need some over-ear headphones that look good, (as in I wouldn't be afraid to be seen in them) sound balanced but have good bass, and are durable enough for daily use.

I mostly listen to hip-hop, rap, and house music. I'm not really that much of an audiophile so I don't mind if the sound isn't completely perfect.

Sennheiser Momentum or Bowers Wilkins P5. The sennheisers have better SQ but the B&W look better.

I think you mean the Sennheiser Momentum are better in every way.

I'll have to agree on that. The Momentum looks cool, especially in brown.

I actually think the P5 looks better, especially when worn. I don't like the way the Momentums band attaches to to the outside of the cup, I think headphones look much better if the band hugs your head more closely.

Hello!

+1 for Momentum. If it cost too much for you[if possible, please do share with us your budget], UE4000, MDR-1R all look good with amp and sound balanced with a lilttle empasized in bass department.

I take M-100 as a more V-Shape sound than balanced. smily_headphones1.gif

I missed the balanced part, but I did say "more of a bassy headphones" biggrin.gif

The V-Moda does really well with OP's music genre, so might just make a mention here...
