unfair comparison Portables vs IEM's

I know this is a unfair comparision to say the least. But the decision to purchase some new phones has been harder than i thought. so here we go....Im just about stuck on buying some sony xb90's, is there any portable headphones or IEM's that would be better than these under $180. Better sub bass, better vocals and sound stage

Xb90 were only introduced for the asian market. I don't know how many people can give you a decent answer about those. IEMs and headphones made by popular brands are priced accordingly to their sound quality (Sony, sennheiser to give a few names) so finding really better headphones could be quite hard.

IMO stay with IEMs.

There are Pros and Cons and I can judge for what I know. I prefer IEMs for daily commute in general. What would be your intended use?
