Yes and no. The decay and impulse responses may still differ, though they will be somewhat closer than before.

 

A few of the more popular bassy headphones have already been mentioned. Also consider an Ultrasone HFi580/Pro750/Pro900 which aren't muddy per se, but they do offer quite a bit of rumble that you might find pleasing.

 

You could also try something like the Digizoid amp to boost bass response.

yup try the digizoid zo, which you can add or remove anytime you want, without having multiple headphones
