Choosing the right amp - Ultrasone HFI 2400

Ok so I just purchased the Ultrasone HFI 2400 for my in home and on the road/travel use. I haven't gotten a chance to use them as I am currently waiting for them to be shipped. 99% of my music is EDM. house, electro, minimal, and mostly uplifting/vocal trance. I believe I have made the right choice. I chose these open headphones over ones like HFI 780 and pro 900 only because of the better surround sound. The other may pack a better bass, but the 2400's are still great.

Now I have a couple questions regarding amps. I am new to headphone amps and know little to none about them. I would like to get an amp to get the most out of my listening experience, but have no clue where to begin. For my headphones, is there something specific I should be looking for or am I just finding the the best one? I am not quite sure if some amps are to improve sound quality and other bass or what not.

I'm just looking for some in depth help on what to look for in amps and which is the right one. If you guys have any recommendations for my 2400's please let me know.

Might help to know what source(s) you plugging everything into?

Sorry. I will be using my laptop at home and Iphone 5 on the Go....I like how the amps can actually be strapped to the Iphone.

Any thoughts?

I see all these Fiio E series numbers and I have no clue what is the difference between them and all and which is the best. and if there is possible any others out there that is better or just as good
