Looking for new headphone < $350, like bass, and using through iPhone

Hey guys,

 

So i've been doing some searching on here and love the forum.  I'm looking for some headphones and have been learning a lot.  At first I was pretty set on the on the Ultrasone Pro 900's, but after doing some reading I came to the conclusion that probably isn't what I should get seeing that i'm going to be powering them through my iphone.

 

I mainly listen to electronic music, dubstep, and some bass-heavy hip hop.  I am not interested in getting an amp, and want them to sound good while being powered through my iphone.  I'm also not at all opposed to a headphone that requires batteries.  

 

Let me know what you guys think.  I want a headphone that is going to last me years and I am willing to spend $350 on the right pair.

I have the Ultrasone Pro 900's! Pair them up with the fiio e11 amp (which costs around 80$) and it will sound phenomenal with your iphone! They sound ok without an amp though just not as good! 

I know you didn't want an amp! Just wanted to share what I have and it sounds really good!

HFI-580 is another option. They are not bad.

Sennheiser Momentum. I use them straight out of my iphone and they sound great. Nice warm smooth bass and impressive overall detail.

Plus they are closed and look okay.
