FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF... Dangit. Gonna have to go with the made in Taiwan ultrasones... Any bass head headphones that are made in Europe?

you can buy a Refub 428 and do the bass mod and just remove the tape leaving all 3 holes uncovered.  It makes " Beats" seem neutral...LOL,  It will give the DT770 a run for it's money...  but it reallys make the cans sound like crap..   HAHAAA!!!!

Talking of the DT770, aren't at least some Beyer's made in Germany?

HD650's imo give a bass that isn't huge.. but can be if you want it to be

it doesn't have insane impact. but it has enough to shake your ears if you so wish!

It has a fair bit of mid bass, and enough sub bass to satisfy me when i come from DT770+Z02

Of course for the price there are better "basshead" cans.. but they can do it.

I find the Momentums to be bassy, not extremely, but they are definitely not neutral. They also lack a little bit in treble, at least in my opinion ;)

Try the HD-25's. Those have pretty darn punchy bass, but not a whole lot of sub-bass,  DT770's would be better in that department.  And what's with the European bias?

I just love Germany. Idk why.

Well, as far as bass-head cans, I doubt you can beat the Denon AH-D series (japan), some of the Sony XB's (also japan), M-Audio Q40's (U.S.A.), and maybe the AKG tiesto line (Austria), with Sennheiser. The Beyer DT770's (and maybe 990's) are the closest you're gonna get from germany... still think the location bias is silly though personally, especially with the advent of 'globalization' and all.

Do try out the HD25's though either way if you're really that committed to Sennheiser.
