Anyone using the HE500 with an Asgard here?  If so, how are they playing with each other? 

 

Also, I know they have not gone out yet but, anyone here have an opinion how the Asgard would drive the LCD2?

Heya,

 

The Asgard drives the HE500 just fine. Provides the 1 watt needed at 38ohms. It drives the LCD2 fine as well, it's easier to drive anyways. Bass is well controlled, mids are syrup, and the treble is a touch bright. I always found the Asgard to be a little on the bright side.

Have you had a chance to try the M&M stack with the 500's or LCD's yet?? Heard pretty good things about them so far, but that they kinda struggle with higher end cans or Orthos etc.

Actually, Justin, please take me off the list for LCD-2.

 

I'll be attending the SF Bay Area meet next week, so I can audition the LCD-2 again there.

ok, will do that.  unfortunately, I think I have to cancel going to the SF Bay meet next week.  just too much travel coming up and too many things to build!
