not necessarily.  i organize them (somewhat) based on location so that shipping never takes more than 1 or 2 days between each destination.

I'll tell you, even being driven by the tubedac 11, these are stunning. People call them dark, but the frequency response is so nice and open. I'm not missing much, I'll tell you that. Also, digging the velur pads for comfort.

update - due to the large # of sign-ups for the Audeze LCD-2, i will be doing 2 demo pairs of LCD-2.  to tell them apart more easily, they will be 1 bamboo and 1 rosewood (please no requests, as there is no difference in sound)

Hopefully I get the Rosewood because I want to see if they look as good in person as they do online but honestly I don't care I'm just excited to get a chance to hear them!

Its killing me that I am actually considering buying the he-500s.  I totally cant afford them.  but they are pretty happening.  love to be able to hear them with the lyr amp.

I really do hope these demos lead to purchases of these items - and they'd better be through Justin.

 

Now if only I can get him to work out a payment plan with me for some LCD2s ... :]

looking forward to the audeze list, Back and forth for weeks between he-500 and LCD-2. Being able to side by side compare is going to be amazing,still have time to make most of my money back if i decide to go the lcd2 routebiggrin.gif

If the LCD-2's are a big enough difference from my HE-400's after this demo I'll be buying them through Justin for sure.

 

Without this I would probably never spend a grand on headphones.

002's came in today, just got everything set up, all came perfectly in order.  

 

When I switch to eco mode there is a high pitched whine - it's not subtle, its quite overpowering.  Is this a problem with this unit specifically or a known bug with the system?

same thing has been noticed by myself and one other person -- noise is coming from the internal switching power supply.
