if you wanted to audition this headphone we can meet up (on holiday ofc, im still a student :( ) or ofc you can go straight to jaben. not sure if they have a unit for audition tho. u will fall in love with these. like seriously hahah. i love it more than my dt770 pro and my ms1i. ms1i is collecting dust now and the dt770 pro only for games and movies.

I'm at Miri so I think it's impossible for use to meet up. :( Will headed to Jaben Kuching next October and see if I can test this little monster my self. Hopefully they have test unit because I noticed Jaben more to Beyer product.

Thanks to liquidgal, we afford this headphone for the cost of $ 151. I wonder how she look like. Well, I can get cheaper from CDJapan for MYR 446.69 including shipping and tax but why not add another RM 50 and get a great service from liquidgal. At least we won't bother about the warranty because will be covered by her. And yet save another RM 200.

Mind to share regarding ES700 vs DT 770 Pro?

i got her facebook ! her name is willy. very2 friendly. that lowyat id pic is the pic of her actually. im a newb so i cant really make a comparison on dt770pro vs es700. its not that dt770pro is bad its just that i'm a 'mids' guy and dt770pro's mids is too.. i dont know how to describe it lol. i even prefer my ms1i to the dt770pro for music.

I have the WS55 pads on mine - they are definitely an improvement on the original ones.

Still can be painful after a long listening session, but not as much as the originals - they are just unusable.

Don't have the ESW9 pads.

Improvement in sound is larger than improvement in comfort.

The bigger soundstage makes it sound much better.

For those that using stock pads and getting some discomfort from lack of padding I recommend using black foam inside half the inner perimeter of the pad to create an "angled pad" and more comfort.
I posted a pic in another thread but here it is an example of the foam inside another pad, my es11 pad, and you can barely see it inside:
.

But the esw9 pads remains the best in sound and comfort for every can I tried (esw9, esw11,es10, es700).
So pads I have tried on es700:
Esw9 (best in every area, clearer sound)
Ws55 (second best in sound and comfort)
Esw11 (loose fit ok sound)
Es10 (loose fit worst)
Es700 (ok sound but ws55 &esw9 better)

Is it the same case where as in the ES10 where the ESW9 pads move the driver a little further away from the ear? For the ES10 I felt the ESW10 pads do this and reduce the bass a little, which makes everything seem cleaner and more open.

@maxx

Were your best skins ever stickers large enough to cover the entire face of the casing?  Mine seem to be 4-5mm too short.

same thing here.
Slightly smaller but saved unit countless possible scratches..

Well I've continued to listen to these almost exclusively for the last few days and they just keep getting better and better.  The sound is even better and the stock pads have either broken in or I've gotten used to them.  What I don't understand is why this thread is not 200 pages long singing the praises of this headphone!

found a way to fix it . u just need to be brave enough to unscrew the headband part and pull out the plastic in there. ive done it. no more wrinkle on top of the band. looks better on head

Thanks. I'll try again. Do you mean the transparent thin plastic layer, yes?

[I had removed this transparent plastic layer... and nothing changed :(.]

Just got these sweet cans! The pads are horrendous though. Would the ESW9 lambskin pads or the WS55 pads be better?
