Question regarding Grado Headphones

I am new to the forum and was interested in purchasing the Grado PS1000 headphones. However, I wasn't sure if I should wait until an upgrade/newer model is released. Can anybody help me out with this? (i.e. possible release date). Thank you.

Grado doesn't release uprades and new models like other headphone companies do, as in all the time. You would be safe to purchase now.

Very safe. I had two pair of Grados for over 20 years, very little changes were made to my models in that time.
