Increase clamping force on Philips Citiscape Uptown headphones?

I just got these and am quite happy with them. I do notice that whenever i increase the clamping force manually while listening, everything sounds better, and they are just as comfortable. 

 

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix more permanent than just pushing the headphones closer to my ears while listening?

Find an elastic band that fits the width and matches the color.  Back in the day some of us used rubber bands to do this, but the looks were hideous.

So just keep the elastic band around it over night or something?

You will have to use the elastic band every time you want more clamping force.  There may be a way to bend the temples, but I am not going to recommend that method as it may damage the headphones.

You mean Put an elastic band around my headphones whenever I use them?

Any more permanent suggestions?

Make an upsidedown U shaped abomination out of metal and push it down on your head.  Or just wear a snug beanie over your headphones.  It is winter after all.
