No, my B&W monitors alone don't sound as full in the lows as the H-100. Nothing that turning on the Martin Logan subwoofer won't solve... biggrin.gif

Appreciate all of your comments - it's always nice to get some compliments for my reviews!

I'll try these with Comply tips and will report back with my impressions. I have some T-400s in my possession, does anyone know if they'll fit?

I use mine with the Ts-400 and they fit. In fact, the bore's a bit wider than the H-100 nozzle, but just push them back hard and they should stay there. Mine do, and that's even better for the deep insertion that benefits this IEM so much... smile.gif

Thanks for the fast reply - I'll hopefully manage to try them with the T-400s on tomorrow.

BTW, I'm too very excited for the H-200s and I hope that I'll get to review them when they're released (from what I heard, it should happen in this month's end - early next month).

Okay now try this....go to ebay and get a set of Kiwi foam tips for 2.99 including shipping and stuff your vmoda's with them.  or you could

spend more money and do the same with comply's.  I assure you it will smooth out the high's(no rhyme intended....hehe).  It will also tighten

the bass and slightly extend it and open up the soundstage.  Try it.

Happy Listening

So I finally had some time to try the H-100s  with the T-400s on. I was very impressed with the several improvements, mainly in the midrange, which IMO became a bit more forward, and also the sound-stage, which became noticeably wider and felt to me a bit more "3D". Thanks for recommending me to do this, I'll now use it with Complys instead of with the stock tips, as I find the sound to be quite a bit better.

And remember that the deepest insertion possible gives you the best results (at least, it does for me)... beerchug.gif

Yes, it's pretty uncanny how much H-100 are effected by tip variation. The sound stage, bass impact and imaging (among other area's) can be completely altered, also the amount of clarity that comes through. I tried several different tips before settling on these ebay tips over Vmoda Bliss, Vsonic and several other cheapo brands. Best of all they cost next to nothing.

Those tips give me the widest stage best mid range placment and doesn't over cook the clarity like other tips I tried.

Yup! That's my problem with complys. War
mth is nice but they tend to soften things a little too much. Earplugs are much more dense plus I make sure they are essentialy flush wuth the tip of the nozzle.I actually like the tip edge extending a couple mm's. It just looks better.

Are these iem have the out-of-the-head sound? How are these compared to the h-100J?
